Detailed itinerary
This program is focused on wildlife observation, birding and rainforest interpretation. Activities may adjust according to weather, river conditions and wildlife activity.
Day 1
Cusco to Tambo Blanquillo Lodge by private bus and boat, crossing high Andean landscapes and lowland rainforest.
Day 2
Macaw clay lick and Camungo Lake, including canopy tower and catamaran exploration.
Day 3
Blanco Lake and tapir lick at Manu Birding Lodge.
Day 4
Manu Birding Lodge trails for monkeys, medicinal plants and another tapir opportunity.
Day 5
Return to Cusco by bus or transfer to Puerto Maldonado for flight to Lima.
