This program is focused on wildlife observation, birding and rainforest interpretation. Activities may adjust according to weather, river conditions and wildlife activity.
Cusco to Bamboo Lodge through Ninamarca, high Andes and cloud forest, with chances to see the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock.
Bamboo Lodge to Hummingbird Lodge in Boca Manu by road and boat along the Alto Madre de Dios River.
Boca Manu to Casa Matsiguenka by boat through Manu National Park. Wildlife watching along the riverbanks.
Exploration of Salvador and Otorongo Lakes for giant otters, caimans, monkeys and rainforest birds.
Casa Matsiguenka to Manu Birding Lodge with strong chances for river wildlife and tapir lick visit.
Maquisapayoj macaw clay lick and tapir lick observation platform.
Return to Cusco by bus or continue to Puerto Maldonado for flight to Lima.
