Detailed itinerary
This program is focused on wildlife observation, birding and rainforest interpretation. Activities may adjust according to weather, river conditions and wildlife activity.
Day 1
Cusco to Bamboo Lodge through Ninamarca, Andes and cloud forest.
Day 2
Bamboo Lodge to Amazonia Lodge; Machuwasi Lake by raft with chances for hoatzins, capybaras and caimans.
Day 3
Amazonia Lodge parrot clay lick and rainforest trails for monkeys, toucans and useful plants.
Day 4
Final parrot/macaw clay lick option and return to Cusco by boat and bus.
